Getting Paid to do F' All with Charlie Garnham episode #215
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Posting more doesn’t always equal earning more and for some designs, it’s the fastest route to burnout. I’m joined by my client and fellow marketing pro Charlie Garnham, a 5/1 projector business coach, to tell the truth about what happens when you stop performing for the Instagram algorithm and start building a personal brand that actually matches your energy.
Charlie is in my Souled Out Offers by Design program and shares how much it's helped her grow her business in this past 12 months. Being part of what's led to her now 4x her corporate income in just a few hours a day!
Then we get into the messy middle: the pressure to prove you’re a “real” marketing expert when a post flops, the temptation to chase trends, and the constant background noise that says success only counts if it’s louder, bigger, and more visible. Charlie shares what changed when she stopped trying to squeeze projector wisdom into short-form content and leaned into long-form marketing like podcasts and YouTube. We also talk about client attraction through invitations, including guest speaking, online summits, and podcast interviews that let you deliver one strong message and then rest.
We unpack the projector lifestyle as a real business strategy: boundaries with social media, more space on the calendar, and the mindset shift from doing equals worth to spaciousness equals magnetism. Then we zoom out to the coaching industry’s favourite myths, including follower count as a proxy for credibility, and “no ads” marketing that quietly replaces money cost with energy cost.
We wrap with a practical look at offer refinement and why a purpose-built AI marketing assistant like Sellina can feel wildly different from generic ChatGPT or Claude prompts because it’s built on methodology and process, not just information.
If you’re craving aligned marketing, human design business strategy, and a calmer way to grow high-ticket offers, hit play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s tired of the content treadmill, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

Welcome And Guest Introduction
SPEAKER_00Hi, hi! Welcome to the Human Design for Marketing podcast. I'm your host, Yvette Mayer, and this show is for you if you're done with cookie-cutter marketing and ready to build your personal brand in alignment with who you really are. I'm a marketing expert, human design nerd, and intuitive business coach who's helped hundreds of women just like you to elevate their frequency and activate their most magnetic personal brand. Each week we'll dive into practical tips, interviews, conversations, and more to help you create an aligned business, a positive contribution, and of course, an abundant life. Let's dive in. Welcome back to the Human Design for Marketing podcast. This episode, I am joined by Charlie Garnham, who is one of my beautiful and absolute legendary clients in sold-out offers by design. Before we get into actually saying hi, I will say that Charlie is also working in the space of human design for business as a business coach. And she's also a 5-1. Although our energies are quite different in that she's a projector and I am course am, of course, a generator. So we're going to be talking about all sorts of things to do with human design and business and a lot about marketing. Well, welcome to the podcast, Charlie. How are you today?
SPEAKER_01Brilliant. Thank you so much, Bet. This is going to be the best podcast ever, I think, for me. So thank you so much for inviting me on the podcast today.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, I'm pretty lit up by it. I hope it feels successful for you. And of course, I gave you the invitation. So we're really in sync right now. Yeah, totally. Yeah. So by way of uh a bit of the story about how this uh conversation came to be, a few weeks back I posted on Instagram about just well, having an open heart actually was where I was coming from and the constant proving that needs to go on when it comes to the algorithm and being in marketing online for oneself as a business owner in order to grow our businesses. And even as a marketing expert with a marketing background, which we actually both have, that can feel really tricky and it can feel triggering at times as well. And I, you know, from my side, I will say that it doesn't make it easier having the extensive marketing background that I have when it comes to my own marketing.
The Algorithm And The Proving Trap
SPEAKER_00Yes, other people's, I can see exactly what needs to be done and see into their energy and support them beautifully. But when it comes to my marketing, I am constantly doing the dance between the marketing science and what I know to be true from a marketing intelligence perspective and what feels good in my energy and what's right for my design. And I battle with it. And so, yeah, that's what the post was about. And Charlie commented and shared that she related to that somewhat. But we've talked about it more now, and I would love to hear your perspective on marketing as a 5-1 projector as well.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, that you know, that whole thing just resonates so much because, like, like you say, you know, being a uh a marketing professional, you know, like I I went straight into marketing from university and I've, you know, been been in marketing for over 15 years. Um, and I've also consulted as well. And it's just the conditioning in marketing is so ripe. You know, it's like you follow the algorithm, you post this many times a day, you do this, you do that, you use hooks, and you, you know, you see it everywhere, you know, all of the adverts, Alex Hormosy and all this sort of stuff. It's like you've got to do it like this, otherwise you'll never get any traction. And actually, you know, when it comes down to you know, people like us that have um, I don't know, slightly different designs from the Alex Hormosis in the world or the Stephen Bartlett's, you know, the five ones, you know, for me being a projector as well, you know, I have individual circuitry, so I'm like really freaking weird sometimes. Um it's just like, you know, kind of understanding the psychology and then also trying to also do it your way. It's it's almost like you you feel like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place because it's like you don't know what to do sometimes. Um and I think, yeah, like for me, it's just like you know, I just celebrated my sixth year in you know, my decommissioning journey with the human design system, and I every day I have to like consider it and think about it. Like, am I posting for validation? Am I posting for recognition? Am I posting for any other reason than my fifth line heresy? You know, because that's kind of where I want to get to, is like I just want to pose just to get my fifth line out there. Is that similar for you as well?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and look, probably because my business is entirely focused on marketing as kind of the hero of how I help people, it's even more complex than that because, and you know, I'm very honest, of course. I I I battle is the right word with what I what I see from what's working out there and being on top of them of the trends and trying the new things, and you know, this time it's butter yellow, and I'll give that a go and I'll respond to what's going on and I'll and I'll do all of that. And then also having this war with myself around, well, if my activity's not doing well, then what does that say about me as a marketing expert? So that makes me want to start jumping through hoops and following more trends and gaining more traction that way. Whereas if I come back to my design and I'm in my fifth line and I'm and I'm um, you know, looking at what's really going on and having a perspective and responding, then I get much more traction. And it's just a matter of like there's space for both. I think there's space for both. But reminding myself, and I would say this to others out there with, you know, uh whether it's you're a generator and you want to be in response or you're a projector and you're trying to follow somebody else's energy and post regularly, like it's going to happen. You're going to you're going to go down these paths, but it's about this self-awareness to bring yourself back again.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, completely. And I always say that about, you know, when you first came into the human design system and you learn about your authority and you get to understand like how that feels in your body and your learning. Actually, learning your authority is more about getting it wrong than it is getting it right. Sometimes when you relate that to marketing, it's like actually, yeah, go and like, you know, follow this trend and follow that trend, because then you'll feel what it's like for you. You've feeled it's like in your body, you're feeling it's like, you know, just out there in the world, like how people respond to you and what they think of you and how understood you are. And then you can then filter out what works and what doesn't. And I think when you look at like an account like yours, Yvette, it's very much um for me personally, and I know that a lot of people are also gonna feel this way. We look at you and you're like, well, she's this amazing, like, you know, six-figure business owner, but she doesn't have to post every day, she doesn't have to do the curated post. So you look at it and you get inspired because you know, this is the the way, the new, almost like the new way to do it, you know. Yeah. I think this line sometimes is a little bit new, you know, follow the trend kind of thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but yeah, but on on the inside, it's still this, like everybody else, and I don't care how big your business is, you know, you can have multi billion, you know, you can have a giant business, basically. You know, a 10-figure business, let's say, you're still going to have to do battle with yourself about this stuff.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00You're still gonna have post that bomb and then overthink things. Like that is going to happen.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, but I'd love what we were I'd love to get into what we were talking about uh just before we started the uh interview. Interview, you know what I mean, the conversation. Um about how much you've allowed your design to give you the spaciousness to release social media as something that you have to do all of the time. So let's let's go into that journey, like how how that's unfolded for you. And I'd also love to hear about the ways that you do acquisition client attraction, given the decisions you've made based on your design.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, totally. So I think, you know, being in marketing, and I, you know, at one point as well, I was like the go-to social media trainer in my organization as well. So I was just like, you know, the social reader queen always. Love it. Um but
Long Form Content Over Reels
SPEAKER_01I just um, you know, I kind of really realized and really lent in that like my projector wisdom is not something that needs to be said over a 90-second reel. So for me, it's about finding long form, what I call long form, you know, content. So YouTube, Substat, you know, however you want to get that voice out into the world rather than the 90-second. Because at the end of the day, like Instagram has copied TikTok because TikTok came on board and everybody was dancing and you know, all the sort of stuff that's like non-salesy and very engaging, very funny. And then Instagram kind of, you know, makes it so that you know, reels are really popular. So what do you have? You have 90 seconds to get your wisdom across. And as a projector, that's not, you know, that's that's not conducive at all. So I really started like, you know, one using long-form content anyway. So I prefer my podcast and my YouTube over anything else anyway. Um, and then the other thing is like when you're standing in front of people as a fifth line, you know, fifth lines were here for, you know, that heretic, unusual, different message to be spoken out into the world. And I started speaking on stages, you know, like guest experting, podcast interviews, um, yeah, like actual stages. And that is just so easy for me as a five-on projector with, I mean, I've got five open centers, right? Yeah, and it's like I can just bundle all my energy into this half an hour talk, and guess what? I don't have to do anything else for the rest of the day. And it's just so easy for me to do that, and then ping, the invitations start coming in after that. You know, people watch it, they watch the recording, and then it just it just flows in. And I can't tell you how easy it is, you bet.
SPEAKER_00I really can't. I just music to my ears. And how do you get yourself in the environments for those opportunities to come your way? Like to get into on stages and on other people's podcasts. Does it just happen, or do you have, you know, do you have a strategy? How's that thing work?
SPEAKER_01So it's so funny because like I'm also quad left. So I am, you know, very strategic minded for sure. And I use that strategic mind for my clients, but for me, I'm not actually strategic with it. I'm very like spleenic, you know, like let's just you know, be, let's just see. And to start with, I did have a little bit of a strategy because you know, there's uh Facebook groups and there's various different platforms that can help you, you know, like there's PodMatch, which I use for about a year, it just matches you up with some, you know, really good podcasters. And um I I really enjoyed that. And you know, as a fifth line and as someone who, you know, has a completely open heart center, you know, very sort of like uh conditioned not to
Invitations Through Stages And Podcasts
SPEAKER_01speak my truth. Having a year on other people's podcasts really helped me to just get that voice clear and just you know get it out there. But anyway, I digress.
SPEAKER_00No, that's a really important thing. Because and I'm asking you this partly because I know that there are projectors in particular who are like I need to do this too. How how? How did she do that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Um, and then after a while, you know, like I came off PodMatch and I kind of like stopped being so sort of like, okay, like I need to respond to things, and I just started letting things happen. Um, and actually, you know, one of my favorite things to do is get involved with like online summits. So, you know, like I'll go live in a Facebook group 20 minutes, and then you know there's all this engagement happening. And my best return on investment was actually one of those that I didn't respond to, but I got invited into. Um yeah, and it just kind of grows from there, really. So I I wait for invitations now, actually.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and you I mean, you still do have an online presence. How do you choose to engage? Like what what shows up for you? How do you lean into that energy and and yeah, what's the what's the narrative you tell yourself?
SPEAKER_01I think a lot of it starts with the projector lifestyle, anyway. You know, like I just make sure that I'm not sitting in front of my phone or my computer all the time. Like I have a specific, um, I'm only allowed myself 15 minutes of social media a day across the whole day. And then, you know, the timer kicked on and I'm I'm not allowed on anymore. Um but you know, like I I rest and I make sure I don't have back to back meetings and I go to the gym and go walking, and that projector lifestyle, you know, it creates space. And the space isn't just for you to rest, the space is for invitations to land, for abundance to come in. And this is the the big, big, big conditioning
The Projector Lifestyle And Boundaries
SPEAKER_01thing that you have to, you know, work at as a projector is that we're taught in our world to go and do because doing equals output, which equals worth, which equals value, which equals you know abundance and all that sort of stuff. And you have to flip it on its head with a as a projector. You have to remember that doing nothing equals worth, abundance, clients, money, etc. And that's the most difficult thing to get your head around.
SPEAKER_00I can only imagine, especially as a generator who, you know, just loves to prove her worth through. Work, work, work, work, work. Uh but I also am aware that your business is just growing from strength to strength. And you were in a a call a couple of weeks ago where you mentioned that you're literally earning more money than you've ever earned and working two or three hours a day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, totally. And you know, like even a year ago, I was saying, oh yeah, like, you know, compared to my corporate career, I'm, you know, working 50% less and earning four times more. Um, I'm pretty sure it's a lot more than that now. I know. Wonderful. Congratulations.
SPEAKER_00I know.
SPEAKER_01It's madness. Um, and yeah, like recently, like the certainly the last year, you know, like, you know, we started working together and sold out for us um nearly a year ago now, I believe. So I started working with Selena.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And you know, like your AI Selena is just like, it's it's not like a custom GPT where you just get to chat. Because I find that these custom GPTs actually they're very just chat GPT anyway, you know, even though people have technically put their brain into it, she's just outstanding the same anyway. So Selena really did help me do a lot of refinement with my offers. Um, and that refinement just, you know, like I the month that we're in at the moment, it like I've got five people on my high-ticket offer, and I've never had any more than two on my high-ticket offer before. Um,
Offer Refinement With Selena AI
SPEAKER_01it's just that refinement that just happened with Selena. Um, and then obviously refinement then comes into my body and my like refinement with my frequency and energy and aura and everything. The deconditioning of the undefined um heart center, that's always the big one, as you know. It's a big one. Yeah, completely. Um, and yeah, it's just you know, like success just comes. And you know what? Next month I might not have as big a bit a bigger month as the month before. And also that's okay as well, because success for Vogter comes in different forms, different ways.
SPEAKER_00So and I mean, you know what? You're already a huge success. Like everything I'm sure you're inspiring so many listeners right now with your story, like you're already a success, and it doesn't matter if you have ups and downs in your business. That is absolutely normal and not talked about enough. Yeah. I mean, uh like I've I've my business constantly goes up in waves and then comes back down and then goes back up in a wave again. So yeah, I think normalizing that is really important.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And like, you know, one of my favorite sayings is um consistency is a capitalist construct. So if you if you want to go into capitalism, don't be consistent, be consistent. Yeah. If you don't want to be consistent, then yeah, like don't be consistent. There's another thing there is Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The other thing I think is true is we all have such different goals. And and I'm not talking about financial, I'm talking about the way you want to feel, where you want to live, the way you want to work, your values, your your life stage. Like we're all so different. But when it gets to the environment of social media and as a human design or business coach or a coach of any sort, really, we are all receiving constant conditioning that success looks like more money.
Redefining Success Beyond Money Metrics
SPEAKER_00More money, more money, more money. And it's actually not true. And unfortunately, even when it's not your goal, it's still you get tricked into believing that this is the ambition that proves worth or proves success. You know, I I would say and I will say, I don't want an empire. Like I don't want to build an empire. I am not here to, you know, it'd be great if I eventually found my way to seven figures, but that's not my number one goal. My my goal is to have financial abundance, have a lot of freedom, and make a positive impact. And I've done a whole podcast on this. But if I don't have those three things in balance, then I'm not succeeding. And I I have been a bit out of balance lately because building my AI platform has taken a lot of my energy with good reason. Um and I'm, you know, I'm glad I've done it. But I think we really have to understand that everybody's own journey is so different. And stop measuring people other people's value as a coach or as an expert based on the amount of money they say that they're earning.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, exactly. And you know, you're right, like uh social media is its own way of conditioning, you know.
SPEAKER_00It's like it is.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like do you want 10 grand a month? You know, actually, if you come into your own self and your own aura, like, and you, you know, you're finding out about yourself, maybe through human design, maybe through astrology, maybe through other means, it's like, do you actually want that? Some people don't. Some people just want enough to pay for this, this, this, and this, go on a holiday, and that's all they want to do. And then they work like two hours a day or something.
SPEAKER_00Um isn't that winning at life for them? Yes, absolutely. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Just living a life that's worth living is just so much more fun than yeah, just like trying to get like to seven six figures, seven figures, eight figures, all that sort of stuff. Um and I think that's really important for people to, you know, understand. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And uh we I was mentioning to you about uh a post that I did on social media today, but the there's the fact. Story around a high figure. And it kind of triggered me to think about it when we were talking about this and the ambition being to be a big income earner. And the assumption, therefore, that they've got it all together when actually everybody's just figuring it out. And you don't want to model your business on somebody's business that doesn't fit your energy or your goals. And the example I want to share today is I, yeah, online I shared that I have had a couple of multi-seven figure coaches that, you know, they use multi-seven figures in their marketing. And therefore, you know, my impression of them is well, they they are like much further along
Ads Versus DMs And Energy Costs
SPEAKER_00than I am. So they really have it figured out. Okay. Yeah. That's me and my kind of somewhat conditioned brain that therefore they have it figured out. But this week, uh, of the two, one of them I I wanted to call out really I said this on Instagram, so I'll say it here really pissed me off. And it was partly because well, I I didn't like being in the process and it didn't work for my energy the way that she was selling. And it also brought to the to my mind that there really there is no one way of growing your business, but a lot of people in marketing make other ways wrong. So in terms of their marketing approach, so the one I'm talking about in her bio says no ads. Okay, so multi-seven figure business, no ads. No ads. No, I I use ads, okay? So I'm very successful. Yes, and I'm not triggered by that at all. I I felt I was following her, I was like thinking some of the things that she was saying were smart. I put a comment on one of her freebies, and as a result of me commenting on her freebie, she then sent me a voice note to sell me, essentially. But the the way it went down was she sent me a voice note saying, XYZ, I have some thoughts on your Instagram. So me being me, I'm like, okay, she's she's about to take me down a sales process here. But I'm curious enough to say, okay, tell me your thoughts. And she then does not tell me her thoughts. She says, So basically, why is Instagram not working for you right now? Or, you know, is Instagram working for you right now? And and instantly I was out because this is a strategy, right? Just be aware that this is a strategy where somebody says they have something of value to give you, and then instead of giving you that, they point out that something isn't working so they can save the day.
SPEAKER_01Which is exactly what's missing or wrong.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, or something's wrong or broken, and I can help you, and therefore I have this opportunity for you. Now, I am not saying that that is inherently wrong or that you shouldn't do that, and it's clearly working for her. Uh and potentially, we were saying this off-air, like potentially, you know, that's a great strategy for a line four. I I probably wouldn't do it so formulaic, but you know, there's different strategies for different energy. But it did lead me to thinking about how we kind of pedestal these individuals who talk about their high income. And I'm, you know, I talk about my income at times as well. I'm not saying that's wrong, but we do pedestal people. And then like my brain went to okay, so I spend money on ads so that I can do what I enjoy doing. And like you, I don't just have a marketing background, I have a media buying background. So doing Facebook ads is literally what I did in my career, not Facebook, but like that's what I did. I bought Cosper Thousands an audio, like that's literally what I used to do. So it comes really naturally to me, and I find it fun. Like, I I find it fun trying to figure it out. Whereas the energy and even the process of getting me into a conversation in the DM with every person that commented that there's such a hard no for me. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, so I mean I think the point you go.
SPEAKER_01Well, I was gonna say that's not fifth line energy in any way, shape, or form, you know, like all.
SPEAKER_00I mean, uh, you know, I always say this, but I like to be one for the many versus the one-on-one. And it's how I've built my whole business. Like I've literally built a business that allows me to be in my fifth line so I can stand out the front and help a lot of people at scale and not be in the DM. But also I think the the thing that I realized, the reason that this kind of bothered me in some way was well, she's kind of saying ads are bad. Well, I think that there's work and there's either time or energy, and they both carry a cost. Okay. So the cost of her energy sending voice notes to anybody that comments on her posts, that's huge to me. I would really value that energy more than the way that I do my marketing where I spend money and I get more time freedom. And I think that's a really important thing to consider.
SPEAKER_01Oh, totally. Yeah. And you know, like as a projector, I would be, and as a fifth-line projector, I would be exactly the same. Like I do not want to spend all this time like, you know, DMing people, voice noting people. I will, I will voice note back if somebody, you know, is is going to be talking to me, and that's that's amazing. But I, yeah, I do not do that cold outreach, uh, you know, voice note DMs.
SPEAKER_00No, and and look, yeah, if you're a fourth line listening to this, I'm not saying don't do it either, because that feels really good. If that feels really good in your energy and you can find a way to do that, then you should absolutely do it. And I don't not do like I I tend to reach out with voice notes with people that have already bought something from me. Yeah. Not beforehand.
SPEAKER_01That feels to me. Yeah, because I always see like the fifth line as like, you know, it's the stranger that comes in, but actually you can get really, really friendly and and and lovely with your clients once they've come in. Absolutely. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's a bit it's a bit standoffish beforehand. Yeah. And then when you cross over, it's like the complete opposite.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. Um, yeah, I love that. And actually, you know, just to continue on a little bit, I've just got like an extra little story to add on with the whole social media thing. Um, I and this is something I posted on Facebook the other day. I um I met up with somebody who I used to do affiliate marketing with way back in the day, way before human design. Tried to do affiliate marketing, didn't work very well for me as a five-white.
SPEAKER_00I tried network marketing, yeah, it didn't work great for me either.
SPEAKER_01No, you know, we've got to figure ourselves out. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you should figure it out, right? Um, and she is just the most amazing manifestor. She actually initiated me into human design. And um, I remember having a catch-up call with her, and um, I think she assumed that I didn't have a business. And she assumed I didn't have a business because I wasn't posting on Instagram or social media or anything. And I said, Yeah, well, actually, I do have a business and it's turning over this much and all this sort of stuff. And I and funny enough, I had another conversation with a generator over in America last week. Because she was like, Oh,
Why Small Audiences Still Sell
SPEAKER_01like, let's help each other. I'm just starting a podcast and I want to do this. And I was like, girl, I you know, I've just turned over this much in my business this month. Um, I I will give you half an hour of my time, and I did.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. But I'm successful. I know. Just because I'm not as visible on the platforms that you're engaging on doesn't mean that I don't have a success in my business. That is so interesting. But also that's that is the that's perpetuated in our spaces.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely perpetuated. Like the more followers you have, therefore the bigger you are. Which is absolutely untrue.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, totally. I mean, like, you know, I say to people all the time, I have a hundred subscribers on my YouTube channel, and I don't really get more than like 30 views a time, even though I did have one last week that was that was pretty good. I went 500 views. It went up a little bit. Um, but yeah, I mean, like, I still get reading bookings and I still get inquiries through that. Um like 100. I mean, as a fifth line, I would love more, right? I would absolutely love more. And I'd love for my content to go viral, but it doesn't need to. I can still get reading bookings through there.
SPEAKER_00That is brilliant and so important to for others to hear because I think the size of the audience is so glorified.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I love you. I know you're not a six-line, but you are a role model. Honestly, I mean, this is just brilliant, brilliant for others to hear.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, amazing. I um I do get that. Like uh, because I work with a three-five manifesting generator in like I do some you know business co-creation stuff, and she just says, Yeah, you you're your role model. And you know what? The funny thing is, is I'm a role model in resting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you are role modeling, doing as little as possible.
SPEAKER_01As little as possible, yeah. But guess what? I'm successful in that.
SPEAKER_00So good. And tell me, you do have a new projector-focused offering coming up, don't you? Tell tell us about that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. So um I think really because of um, you know, the the success I've had recently through, you know, kind of using Selena and you know, also going through low ticket lab as well with you, um, I kind of just I kind of just realized like, you know, I get paid uh very well to do fuck all. I really do. I really do. So um and magical, like a lot of it. Yeah, I know. And like a lot of it is, you know, like even just like attracting clients that haven't got this kind of like flooring attention of like, Charlie, can you do this? Charlie, can you do that? Like, I I people can contact me anytime they want, but it's a very, very um the just the type of client that I get in
Private Podcast For Projector Business
SPEAKER_01is very much like, yeah, I'm I'm only gonna speak to Charlie then. Like, you know, Charlie's very like, you know, respectful, exclusive, they're very, very, very respectful, yeah. Um so just like anything with with my design, you know, because I have my spleen defined, so you know the the insights come through and I love that. But I actually, even though I have my throat center defined, I don't have a connection in between spleen and throat. Um, and sometimes I would get these ideas and then nothing will come to form, nothing will come out, nothing will manifest. And this one did um because usual sort of like, you know, projector efficiency. I got on my mic, I recorded six episodes with a private podcast, and essentially it is a private podcast for projectors on how to do projector business, earn a lot of money, but not do anything at all. So we go through all the different things.
SPEAKER_00I'm going to give you coaching on doing nothing. Yeah, this is brilliant, but it has to happen.
SPEAKER_01You laugh, but it has to happen.
SPEAKER_00I think it's awesome. I I I kind of wish I was a projector right now.
SPEAKER_01I mean, anybody can listen to it. Uh, I don't mind at all. Um, you know, because I do have so many managers that come to me and say, like, I really wish I could do focal.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I'm like, okay, well, let's do it. But in a month, you'll be back to doing what you really want to do. Yeah, suppose.
SPEAKER_00I mean, we're we're I mean, I'm not a manifesting generator, but the the generator doesn't quit. You can try.
SPEAKER_01You can try. Exactly. Yeah, and absolutely you need to have some time out and chill out time and all that stuff, but it's not gonna last long.
SPEAKER_00No, it's definitely it's a thing. It's this worker be thing that you just can't you can't uh argue with it at times. It's just a force of its own. So I will pop into the show notes. Uh is it ready to purchase now?
SPEAKER_01Uh it it will be by the time this episode is aired. Brilliant. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Well, I better hold it. You're gonna get to the thing. I'm gonna work on it again and then it will be ready. I love it. I love it. Uh anything else before we wrap up?
SPEAKER_01Um just like like with everything, it's like it's just just be yourself. But the thing is, is you've got to find yourself first to be yourself. Um, and you know, human design was absolutely the thing that helped me to find myself because you know, my ego mind thinks that I'm this, this, this, and this. And then my chart says, well, actually, you're this, this, this, and this. And yeah, find yourself, be yourself, and that's when your business will grow.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I love it. And actually, I'm gonna share one more thing before we wrap up because you said something earlier about Selena that uh it reminded me of something I was thinking about today. And that is that you're right, you can use Chat GPT or NormalClaude and plug in all of your design, your, you know, all the key elements of your chart, and it will really help you. It will definitely give you some um deeper context in terms of how to grow your business and how you to do your marketing. But the difference between that and something like how Selena has been built is it's much more deeply tuned into uh methodology as well as greater depth of human design understanding. So it's it's a yeah, it's it's a very different
AI Tools Versus True Methodology
SPEAKER_00experience. And I've had this happen actually, where somebody that did low ticket lab and she's in an early stage of her business, she's not ready to invest in coming into sold-out offers just yet, but she sent me a couple of notes, and she might actually be listening to this right now. Uh, but she sent me a couple of notes and she said, Look, I've I've set up Claude, and you know, I'm still going on and I'm still doing this and I'm doing that, but oh my god, it's just very different to Selena. Like it's not the same. And I'm like, you know, it's not just the human design coding, it's the fact that she leads you through a process and therefore you get to the end much more quickly in a way that suits you. So yeah, you just you just reminded me of that. And I thought it would be a good way to close out the episode. So thank you for sharing that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, totally. And I think you know, just to add one little thing onto there, AI probably takes individual understanding of a each tiny little nuance of human design. But a human being, like what you've done with in Selena putting your knowledge into it, you're probably coming at it with a lot more holistic view. Um, you know, yes, you've got that, like a fourth line, but then you've also got this and you've also got this, and that makes it much more nuanced. Whereas AI, it won't do that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it can't do that. And and yeah, look, there's so much in the back end. I mean, gosh, I can't even begin to tell you what's in the back end.
SPEAKER_01I can probably guess and then signed it by 10.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, probably yeah, every single thing that I've ever built in the last three and a half years of me fusing marketing and human design, every process. And and lately, like I think you you might know this, but I've been uploading every client like group call in terms of the way I coach as well. And then adding in things like pressure tests around, okay, so instead of just giving the answer, I want you to stop at the answer and then make sure that it's the best answer. So go back and review your work. Thanks. So there's constantly like there's there's things that you just don't get in other AI. So thank you again. Uh thank you for your time. I've loved this conversation. And I I know it's yeah, it's probably the best podcast I've ever done. You're right. People are gonna love it.
SPEAKER_01Thank you so much. Thank you so much for inviting me. It's just so easy and natural talking to you as well. So it's been quite uh quite a breeze for me.
